The Launch

The use of Robotics in learning is being demonstrated at the Official Launch of the e-Learning Project.

First Contract being signed

Signing the contract for the supply of Audio Visual equipment are e-Learning’s Chairman, Dr. Jean Beaumont and Norris Taylor CEO of Illuminat. Teachers being taught how to use AV equipment

The first orientation meeting held with 54 principals and senior teachers from the pilot schools. The group was formally introduced to the project and given an orientation in the used of Audio Visual equipment being provided.

ICT Training for teachers

Teachers are being trained in ICT by Heart at their facilities. Some eleven thousand teachers will be trained under the project.

One of the first schools receiving Computers

The official handing over of a fully equipped computer lab and network at Kingston High. They are one of the 30 institutions in the Pilot phase of the Project.

Training in the use of Instructional Software

Teachers are being trained to use digital learning resources for biology by a representative of the Vendor. Learning resources will be provided for 11 subject to all High Schools under the project.
